Colorizing ZEN Originals with Serum

Hello to fellow color authors and those interested in these types of threads. I recently setup my Pinball FX game to run color DMDs for all of Williams' games that had a compatible color ROM and wow what a difference it made playing an already fun platform with the color ROM feature.

In my search for compatible color ROMS, I noticed two color ROMs for two ZEN originals (Biolab & Sorcerer's Lair) by Boroka. These were pretty awesome, to say the least and breathed new life into these games. It made me wonder why no one else has created color ROMs for other ZEN originals, besides the fact that it is pretty hard obtaining all the DMD scenes to colorize when you're not able to beat the game/achieve wizard modes 😅

 

I've begun trying to colorize Super League Football. I thought this one may be one of the simpler ones since I didn't believe there were too many animated scenes. Learning Serum ColorizingDMD has been a little bit of a learning curve, but I believe I'm off to a good start. I've tried searching for Discord channels or others who are far more advanced in colorizing ROMs to learn from but haven't seen anything. Is there a community of developers available who engage and share ideas?

 

Also, I'm curious if there are repositories where users share/dump their RAW .txt data from games to make it easier to capture DMD scenes.
