Media issue on pinup

Several of us (French members) are encountering a media playback issue when selecting tables in PinUP.

After X tables change , the default media appears instead of the table-specific media, and subsequently, only the playfield updates.

We naturally tried to find a solution, but no change. (Video drivers, media replacement, disable fade-out and transition on game/wheel

 

IA Google mode suggests this solution : 

1. PinUp Popper has a hidden option to force memory cleanup whenever the table changes, preventing the video player from becoming overloaded. Open PinUpPopperConfig.exe. Go to the "Global Config" tab, then to the "Script / Common" sub-tab (or "Preferences," depending on your version). Look for an option named "Force VLC Free," "Free Media on Change," or "Clear Playup." Check this box to force the release of RAM every time the wheel spins.

 

2. Increase the navigation delay (Wheel Scroll Delay). If you scroll through the list too quickly, PinUp Popper attempts to load the backglass videos simultaneously. After a certain number of operations, the VLC subsystem crashes. Go to PinUpPopperConfig.exe > Global Config > Preferences tab. Adjust the "Wheel Delay" (or "Scroll Delay") value. If it is currently set to 0 or 50, change it to 150 or 200 (milliseconds). This creates a brief pause of one-tenth of a second before loading the videos, giving Windows time to close the previous video.

 

3. Clean up corrupted cache files. The reversed navigation direction occurs because PinUp Popper reads its SQLite database index differently. An index or cache file may have become corrupted. Go to your `..\PinUPSystem\` folder. Look for a folder named "Cache" or for temporary files (e.g., `POPmedia.cache` or similar). If you find them, delete them (they will be recreated cleanly). Open `PinUpPopperConfig.exe`, go to the "Database Utility" tab, and run a command such as "Vacuum Database" or "Clean/Optimize DB" to fix the indexing of your table list.

 

AI has its limits too, but the idea is interesting. Is there a command that can be added to the Pinup script to perform this memory cleanup or increase the allocated size? 

We are not coders and wouldn't want to crash the system. ^^ I'm not sure, but doesn't Pinup use VLC anymore ?

 

System update with pinupdater on baller V2.0 but already here on V1.5 Legacy

Is it possible in SQL request to the VPX playlist to add an argument to save memory or something like that ?
