I have no idea why this table has not been made ? Maybe it’s just a uk thing ?

Anyway, my question realistically how difficult would it be for me to modify say an existing table like iron maiden beast and reskin it and add my own

I have these game modes in mind already

1. The Chandelier Drop (Hurry-Up)
The Goal: Stop the chandelier from smashing before the timer runs out.
What to hit: Hit the Center Ramp twice to position the ladder, then hit either Orbit to catch it.
2. Batman & Robin (2-Ball Multiball)
The Goal: Escape the muggers in the dark streets of Peckham.
What to hit: Hit the Left and Right Orbits for Jackpots, then hit the Spinner 50 times to outrun them.
3. The Theme Song Hook (Drop Targets)
The Goal: Collect dodgy gear from the opening lyrics.
What to hit: Knock down the 4 Drop Targets ([Watch Straps], [Gold], [Ponies], [Diamonds]) to light the Scoop for a mystery bonus.
4. Escaping the Driscolls (Chase Mode)
The Goal: Lose the rival brothers in the backstreets.
What to hit: Hit any 4 Ramps within 30 seconds to escape to the Nag's Head.
5. The Harrison Watch (Wizard / Bonus Round)
The Goal: Sell the rare garage find for millions.
What to hit: Every single switch scores big. Hit Ramps to increase your multiplier, then shoot the Reliant Van to slam the auction gavel and collect the mega payout.
6. Danger UXD (Blow-Up Dolls PuP-Pack Mode)
The Goal: Vent the gas from the explosive dolls before they blow up on your screen.
What to hit: Hit the Left and Right Loops to lower the pressure on the PuP-Pack, then shoot the Reliant Van to dump the cargo.

Obviously you have no idea whats lying ahead of you. Have you ever looked at a tables script? Good luck! (never heard of 'fools and horses'...)

As a hobby computer programmer from ZX Spectrum days, the "easiest" way may be to take an existing table and redo the playfield and backglass art, while keeping all the bumpers, ramps and drop targets etc. the same locations. Similar to how The Beatles was done using Seawitch rom. But I wouldn't know where to start, personally.

So im just using this as a place holder. Guess im doing this the long way.  I KNOW this is dated theme, I KNOW this is a uk thing and it wont get more than 10 downloads.
But if anyone wants to help i would be so grateful.... SLAM TILT you scotish git this should be your next project....... 😀like he checks on here hes a PF guy. worth a try.

im watching Scott Wickberg videos i now have his template.

  • Im using AI to get me some ideas of how the table looks but will ask a friend to do the fianal photoshop parts.
  • I found a 3d print file for the middle bash toys that im converting it into a  object i want the van to be in the middle and spin around, so the ball can shoot inthe back for a ball lock.
  • The nags head mini game just came to me i want the front n door to open and it start 4 random games.
  • i want a bash toy to pop up like medival maddenss thats uncle Alberts boat to hit and then drop down when you sink it.
  • i also what he score to be in britsh pounds just to be diffrent
  • im adding to my collection of  audio to edit and improve for each callouts and im looking for places for hi res videos for the pup pack.

Idead and rules sets that i give to AI to lock in place and i have this so far.

Playfield Letter Spells & Main Rules

D-A-V-E Rollover Lanes: Stepping through and lighting all four letters completes the sequence. (Callout: Trigger's "Why do you call me Dave, Trigger?").

L-O-V-E-L-Y J-U-B-B-L-Y Orbits & Targets: Completing the full phrase awards a points bonus and triggers Del Boy's catchphrase.

The Chandelier (Super Jackpot): Suspended high above the pop-bumpers. Tie to a high-risk Super Jackpot that flashes violently and plays a glass-shattering sound on failure.

Trotters Independent Traders Multiball

The Bash Toy: A detailed 3D Robin Reliant van.

The Spinning Reveal Mechanism: The van spins around to reveal its open back doors, which act as the main ball lock. Visual cues confirm this movement.

The Lock Rule: Shooting the ball straight into the open back doors physically locks the ball. The van shakes violently with backfire sounds.

The Release: Locking three balls (or completing a Nag's Head mode) triggers Multiball. The theme song plays, and all balls are kicked out.

The Nag's Head Mini-Games

The Setup: A ramp shot with a diverter. When lit, hitting the ramp locks the ball in a top-down view scoop (pub doors snap open) to start a mini-game.

Game 1: The Yuppy Love Bar Lean (Video Mode): DMD video game to lean smoothly with the bar flap closing.

Game 2: Batman & Robin Sprint (Physical Mode): A hurry-up combo: Left Ramp, Right Ramp, and Right Orbit.

Game 3: Load the Van (Physical Mode): Timed frenzy where the Robin Reliant spins to reveal the lock; bash it to load goods.

Game 4: Danger UXD (Physical Mode) (Updated): Physical drop targets emerge from the table (blow-up dolls). Hit all dolls to make them drop down into the playfield surface before the timer explodes.

Uncle Albert's 'DURING THE WAR...' Bash Target (New Mode!)

The Bash Target: A detailed, weathered 3D model of a British naval vessel is physically added to the playfield.

The Mechanic: Mounted on a new, prominent solenoid-driven pop-up mechanism embedded in the central cobblestone street.

The Rule (NEW STOP THE STORY MODE): When the "During the war..." callout begins, the boat pops up. You must hit this new bash target 3 times to "Sink" the boat and stop Uncle Albert's story before it finishes.

Reward: Successfully sinking the boat stops the story and awards a large bonus plus a "Lovely Jubbly!" extra ball light. Failing to sink the boat (letting the story play out) awards minimal points.

 Master Audio Callout List

Here is the updated list of quotes programmed into your PuP-Pack:

Del Boy

"Lovely Jubbly!" (Jackpot / LOVELY JUBBLY completion)

"He who dares, wins!" (Launching / Plunger pull)

"What a plonker!" (Ball drain / Missed shot)

"This time next year, we'll be millionaires!" (Starting Multiball)

"Mange tout, mange tout." (Skill shot)

"I'll have a Caribbean Stallion... and put an umbrella in it!" (Locking ball 1/2)

Rodney

"Cosmic." (Ball drain / low score)

"You're a sociopath, Del!" (Hitting the Robin Reliant aggressively)

Trigger

"Alright, Dave." (Game start)

"Why do you call me Dave, Trigger?" (Completing D-A-V-E lanes)

Uncle Albert / Grandad

"During the war..." (Sinking Boat Bash Mode Active!)

"I didn't know you were bringing guests, Del." (Locking ball 2)

"Your dad always said..." (Tilt warning)

Boycie

(Signature rapid machine-gun laugh) (Replay / Match sequence)

"Marlene!" (Hitting a specific side target)

"I am dealing with peasants." (Failing a mini-game)

just come up with the wizaed mode

The Harrison Watch (Wizard Mode)

The Setup: This is the ultimate goal, represented by the top mode light insert. It only activates after completing all the main modes (Multiball, Nag's Head games, sinking the boat).

The Activation: Once lit, shooting the Nag's Head scoop starts the Wizard Mode: the "Sotheby's Auction House."

The Rule: A 60-second hurry-up starts. Every major playfield shot increases your score multiplier as the auction price climbs.

The Climax: You must hit a flashing center shot before the timer expires to secure the final bid of £6.2 million. Winning awards the "Millionaire" Super Jackpot and plays the clip of Del and Rodney fainting and cheering.

End of Game / High Score Sequence

Initials Entry (The Sunset Scene):

Trigger: The player achieves a high score and the game transitions to the "Enter Initials" screen.

Audio: "Our House" by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young begins to play.

Video: The PuP-Pack displays a cinematic sunset scene, creating a relaxing and nostalgic atmosphere to wrap up the game.

Did a mock table using the whole Tilly table …. So much respect for table builders….this is gonna take a long time

I think I’m gonna use the orbital package rather than start a fresh or modify a. Table

So i think ive found the table i want use rekin or rebrand  THIS Version of
https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=11874#

My goal

I don't want this to become:

"Someone put Del Boy artwork on Medieval Madness."

I want people to load it into VPX and think:

"This feels like Williams actually made an Only Fools & Horses machine in 1997."

That's a much higher bar—but I think it's achievable if we stay organised and build it one polished feature at a time.

I genuinely think this project is worth doing, and if we stick to a structured plan, I can help you from the very first line of script all the way through to a finished public release.

ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES

Master Project Bible & Design Document

Base Table: Williams Medieval Madness (JPSalas / Dozer / Hanibals 4K Mod)

1. Table Layout & Shot Map

This section maps the original Medieval Madness layout to the streets of Peckham.

The Main Target (Originally The Castle): The Nag's Head Pub. Hitting the gates opens the pub doors.

The Left Catapult: The Trotters' yellow Robin Reliant Van.

The Left/Right Troll Mechanisms: Uncle Albert's Pop-Up Boats.

The Merlin Saucer: Del's Hooky Street Suitcase. A 3D open suitcase on a market trestle table. Hitting this scoop draws a random market deal.

Left/Right Ramps: Hooky Street Market Ramps.

The Damsel Ramp: The Chandelier Rescue Loop.

2. Character & Difficulty Selection

Triggered at the start of a game using the flipper buttons before launching the first ball.

CharacterDifficulty SettingStarting BallsScoring Multiplier

Del BoyHard3 Balls$1.0\times$ Score

RodneyMedium5 Balls$0.75\times$ Score

TriggerEasy5 Balls$0.5\times$ Score

3. Core Game Modes

The 6 standard pub mini-games, progressing toward the final wizard mode.

The Chandelier Drop: Time-attack mode. Shoot the upper loop repeatedly to try and "catch" the falling crystal chandelier before it smashes.

The Blow-Up Dolls: Hit the Trotters Van scoop to clear out a batch of toxic, self-inflating trade stock.

Poker Night: Hit the drop targets to outsmart Boycie in a high-stakes card game at the flat.

Peckham Spring: Water flowing! Loop the left and right outer orbits to bottle and sell "pure" tap water.

The Grandfather Clock: A timed hurry-up mode. Shoot the center pub doors to unload a dodgy antique clock before the timer hits zero.

The Grand Lock-In (Wizard Mode): Unlocked after completing the first 5 modes. A chaotic, high-scoring finale where every major playfield toy activates at once.

4. Hooky Street Suitcase Mystery Awards

When the ball drops into the suitcase scoop, the game randomly selects a "deal" based on the classic theme song:

"From a Pin to an Elephant": Either a tiny 500-point joke award (The Pin) or a massive 5,000,000-point jackpot (The Elephant).

"Real Imitation Leather Jackets": Activates a Ball Saver for 30 seconds to protect your ball from draining.

"Gold Chains & Diamond Rings": Instantly boosts your main Score Multiplier by $+1\times$ or $+2\times$.

"Dodgy VCRs & TVs": Instantly awards progress towards your next active pub mini-game mode.

"Suitcase Full of Money": Extremely rare draw. Instantly lights the Nag's Head Pub Multiball or maxes your bonus pool.

5. Multiball Modes

Chaos on the playfield with multiple moving balls.

The Nag's Head Multiball (3-Ball): Started by locking three balls inside the pub doors. Focuses on hitting the pub entrance for "Pub Jackpots."

Hooky Street Multiball (3-Ball): Triggered by lighting all 5 main character inserts and hitting Del's Suitcase. All ramps light up green for "Gaucho Jacket Jackpots."

"During the War..." Multiball (2-Ball): Activated by repeatedly hitting Uncle Albert's pop-up boat targets. Hitting the boats scores "Depth Charge Jackpots."

The "Faulty Batch" Joke Multiball (4-Ball): Secret Easter Egg. Hit the Robin Reliant van 7 times in a row. Automatically launches a barrage of balls while sirens wail.

6. Audio, Quotes & Sound Effects

System Setup: Custom WAV files imported via the VPX Sound Manager, replacing the muted Williams ROM audio.

Left Flipper Button: Generic flipper mechanical sound.

Right Flipper Button: Generic flipper mechanical sound.

Slingshots: Quick tyre-screech or impact sound.

Pop Bumpers:

Bumper 1: Del Boy shouting "Lovely Jubbly!"

Bumper 2: Rodney shouting "You plonker!"

Bumper 3: Trigger saying "Alright, Dave."

Trotters Van Hit: Engine backfiring sound (van_backfire.wav).

Uncle Albert Target Hit: Alarms ringing and Albert saying "During the war..." (albert_war.wav).

7. Display Triggers (DMD & PuP-Pack)

Game Start Screen: The classic Only Fools and Horses yellow title card.

Character Menu: High-resolution cutouts of Del, Rodney, and Trigger flashing as you cycle through them.

Chandelier Drop Mode Active: Video loop of Grandad loosening the wrong bolt from the ceiling.

Van Multiball Active: Video of the yellow van zooming down the road with smoke pouring out the exhaust.

8. Artwork & Playfield Inserts

Main Center Decal: The Trotter Independent Traders yellow logo layered over the center playfield wood texture.

Jackpot Inserts: Re-labeled from "Jackpot" to "Cushty!"

Progress Inserts: Five custom character decals tracking your progress toward Hooky Street Multiball.

Haha this sounds great!  The two pop up thingy's should be the blow up dolls.  And the drop targets could be Uncle Albert's boats he sunk... a frigate, warship and gravy boat!

Deffo gotta get grandad in there somewhere. The chandelier drop was his crowning moment "I wish you'd said something Del. 'Cos I was working on this one."
Other classic lines from grandad "What you got, a Wendy 'ouse?"   "Well that's the best time to do it Rodney"  answering the question about gunrunning during a civil war.         "Yellow canary, Yellow canary"

Maybe get Micky Pearce in there for something. "You said we were gonna do a deal with Weetabix".
The lawn mower engines episode is a personal fave. "They not just lawn mower engines. They're broken.. lawn mower engines".

Also Slater "You've been fertilised by a Trotter!"
Corrine: "Denzil? Have you and Rodney been on the funny fags again?"
These are just little one liners that could be squeezed in there that fans always remember. That way you get to include more characters, but I know it's hard to work all this out.

Playfield looks good but I'd swap the big logo for the Reliant van as that has TiT Co in it.    😛
Van on the side art has 4 wheels. Looks more like an Anglia. But that's AI for you.

And it is definitely not a Robin Reliant. It's a Reliant Supervan II.   Or just Reliant Regal van. Reliant owners get very tetchy about Robin Reliant 'cos it's like saying Cortina Ford.  😛
