But the great bonus was finidng the orignal version of the theme song that im now gonna use for Nags head mini game  mode as a little Easter Egg.

I really hope some of the people who make these tables are fans of the show. Would love to play an only fools and horses table especially if they can make it vr! I'll keep checking back to see progress

  • Little update on where I’m at with the Only Fools and Horses pinball table:
  • I’ve cloned the voices of the cast using my voice-cloning software and now have over 3,000 callout clips ready for the table.
  • I’ve cut and prepared loads of clips from the show in HD, but kept the file sizes down so they’re suitable for the PUP Pack.
  • I’m now on Version 14 of the rules. I’ve recently added things like Trigger’s Broom and pop-up targets for the blow-up dolls.
  • I’ve got a working DMD display now, with the scoring all done in pounds rather than normal pinball points.
  • The physical layout is pretty much worked out in my head. I know where I want the main shots, toys and features to sit on the table, even though it isn’t all built yet.
  • I’ve already got a few 3D objects/models ready for the table, including the Nag’s Head and the Trotters’ van.
  • I’ve created loads of artwork and ideas for the playfield, backglass and other parts, but nothing is completely set in stone yet.

I know quite a few people are worried this is going to end up as just another load of “AI slop”, but to be honest, that isn’t what I’m trying to do.

I’m mainly using AI for the boring, repetitive stuff that would otherwise take me hours — things like cutting and sorting clips from the show, preparing audio, helping edit and debug the table scripts, organising files and speeding up jobs that don’t really need me sitting there doing them manually.

The actual table design, rules, shots, modes, toys, layout and ideas are things I’m putting together myself. AI is basically another tool in the toolbox to help me get through the tedious stuff faster so I can spend more time on the parts that actually make the table fun.

Still loads to do, but it’s slowly starting to feel like an actual pinball machine rather than just an idea. 😄

This time next year..
