What i did was unregister first in the FLexDMDDUI app. Then allow the file to be downloaded and copied it over on my computer once done and then re register and it works. Yay! i think windows defender blocked a vital part of the files. Edited July 5 by Madonion
Darkflame Posted July 6 Posted July 6 I have the same problem with the zip file of FlexDMD 1.9.1 (here : https://github.com/vbousquet/flexdmd/releases) which is tagged by Windows Defender as a trojan... Could you please rezip the files inside it and attach the new file to this thread ? I think it will help others with the same problem 🙂

No Problems here with win11 To add a folder exclusion in Microsoft Defender Antivirus: Open Windows Security. Go to Virus & threat protection. Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings. Scroll down to Exclusions and click Add or remove exclusions. If prompted, approve the User Account Control (UAC) prompt. (allow) Click Add an exclusion and select Folder. Browse to the folder you want to exclude, select it, and confirm. Microsoft Defender will no longer scan that folder.
Darkflame Posted July 6 Posted July 6 (edited) I won't take the risk, maybe it's not a false positive but really a trojan... I've read elsewhere that Defender alerts about the zip container, the files inside are clean. Edited July 6 by Darkflame

If you have alternative antivirus installed it wont detect it only windows defender does by the looks of it.
Darkflame Posted July 6 Posted July 6 (edited) That's why I asked you to rezip the files you have extracted (or make a rar or a 7z, as you wish) because only the original zip is corrupted, not the content. Edited July 6 by Darkflame
