izzbo Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Usually mt vpx tables run above 500 fps. If I want to limit them and into the maximum framerate setting and set it to 300 for example, it always maxes out at the refresh rate of the the panel (60 fps or 120 fps for example). Any way around this without having to limit fps on the exe via my graphic card settings and effect all tables?
deadmanworking Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Appears this was possible in VPX7 but not anymore / bugged in VPX8 .. why set a higher frame rate though? In VPX you'll possibly get the best results if you chose frame pacing and a slightly lower frame cap than your refresh rate (like 116 fps for 120Hz, 232 fps for 240Hz) check the frame pacing FAQ for more insight.
