Hi guys.

As some of you already know Ive suffered a few set backs recently. Became unemployed through no fault of my own. My blood cancer has gone out of control making replacing the job at this time more difficult than it should be. Money ran out fast and now debt collectors are chasing. But at least I had pinball. My sanity hobby and the thing I can share with Lijie.

But today I turned on my rig to upload his new Hot Chicken masterpiece to find the cabinet dead in the water. It appears the psu died and in so doing fried the gpu and a ram chip. Ive been wrestling with it a few hours and just got a single screen up so I can probably release Hot Chicken tonight. I found and ancient  430watt psu and some old dusty ram lying around so its running 16gb which is a start. But the on board gpu was unresponsive. So I found a disgustingly cat peed and connection corroded g force 9600gt with 512mb of vram in my shed junk and blow me down it boots! But I highly doubt it’s going to be up for the task re developing tables or playing anything modern. Though this card is what I was running back in the day when I was building early fp tables like monster land and madlax.

*update the 9600 is nurfed but the onboard is running now, can’t run vox though.*

I can not do any upgrades financially, with no current income, so it looks like unless I can revive my gpu (a crummy old 1gb radeon 5770 which now stops the system dead when its connected) Ill be unable to continue table development or playing in the foreseeable future.

So my current projects are all on hiatus. I may be able to migrate to my desktop, which isn’t great either, but transferring hundreds of gbs of data and setting up pinball from scratch is daunting.

If I can retrieve it I’ll upload hot chicken tonight. Because I feel like chicken tonight.* uploaded hot chicken here. Enjoy. Any bugs will have to wait until I can run it here*

Wow I hope you can find a new job Anthias. I'm sure talents will be rewarded with good income soon. A stable environment is most important to kids and I'm sure your focus is there much more than pinball. Praying your doctors get your condition under control :( God bless and hang in there!
