pinup menu player :Server Execution Failed in pup 2.0

took windows preview update today and got pinup menu player :Server Execution Failed error in pup 2.0

i had to uninstall windows update and it works fine again. is there a work around?

I have this today also but don't see a new windows update or a log in popper. Did you get it figured out?

nope i just unistalled 2026-05 Preview Update (KB5089573) (26200.8524)  and all work fine

Thank you, the update broke my PUP 1.5 as well.  Rolling back the update restored functionality.

I am using the 1.5 version and I updated to the KB5089573 cumulative update for Windows 11 this morning and had the same issue. I uninstalled the update, rebooted, and all is working as normal again.

Uninstalled security update for windows 11 and readded exclusions for vpinball folder and pinup menu, and pinup menu setup...all is working in beta 2.0..hope this helps.

As an update/FYI, I just reinstalled the Windows 11 KB5089573 security update, and then ran this simple registry fix from the nailbuster website. I am all good now. Works as it did before.

I wonder if anyone has tried the June KB5095093 (26200.8737) preview update? I bypassed 5089573 for obvious reasons but wondering if the com surrogate issue has been fixed in the June preview.
