Question

I have been trying to get some high quality FP playfield captures with the PinUp Popper screen recorder, but it will not record the screen at 4k.  I have read that I should turn off "full screen" mode and manually enter the resolution.  However FP wont allow me to enter the 4k resolution manually, it caps out long before 4k.  I end up with a playfield that takes up maybe 60% of the playfield and a recording with a huge border of my Windows desktop around the reduced playfield size.  If I select full screen it auto populates the right resolution, but wont record.  It all works fine if using VPX.

Any suggestions?

Enable fullscreen, then set your resolution. then go back to settings, and ONLY uncheck Fullscreen. DO NOT touch any other settings. Even though it may not show the correct resolution, the setting is still in the registry and will be used.

Keep in mind, this runs FP in "Windowed" mode, not Borderless Windowed mode. To make FP run in Borderless Windowed, you need to run "FP - PF - Windowed to Borderless.bat" in the  "FuturePinball\Tools and other Apps\FP to Borderless Windowed" folder after the table has loaded (or while its loading).

Thank you.  Worked finally.  Spent way too many hours trying to make it work.
