heberts811 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I have been using VP for many years but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I patched the 1.2 version of Avengers to play desktop but it shoots out 2 balls at the start of every ball. I have deleted the nvram and config files but I don't know that much about the program so I need help to figure it out. I also tried re-downloading and repatching the table with no differencer. This is the only table I have this issue with. Any help would be appreciated. Gary

Shadowsclassic Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Just a thought, did you try going into the registry and deleting the Rom entry there as well as the nvram? There have been times on a table that I had to go in and remove any and all references to it in order to finally get it to behave.

Rook3 Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I finally got Avengers working today (had to rename the ROM folder, plus the actual .bin code inside), and I too get the double ball kickout at game start, and after each ball drain. Only game that does it thus far.

1moreastronaut Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Thanks gtxjoe. I was having the same issues as the guys above but after replacing the ROM with the one from your Dropbox, it works great. For the record, I downloaded the LE version of the ROM from Stern's website (and renamed both the ZIP and the BIN within accordingly). Was that the wrong one to start with?
