Hi, not sure if the right place to post this, but after days of trying, I cannot get directoutput to work. I installed via the MSI installer. 32 bit and 64 bit. .  All I have is a Dudescab board and a Bunny Board. Just one item on the bunny board, a simple bulb for the Launch Ball button (still early days of build).  Followed Way of the Wrench install. Just doesn't work.

When I check the B2sServer (right click on backglass), plugins are enabled, but directoutput plugin is not listed.  Alias for DirectOutput folder is in VisualPinball/Tables/Plugins (both 64 and x86). Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for replying, it really is appretiated.

I have pretty much done everything as per the link.

I'm using the DOF link from DudesCab configurator link - as it is suggested that this is wise when using DudesCab

Visual Pinball is version 10.7.4

I'm only running 64bit VPX and have checked it is the 64 version

Using the MSI installer have installed DOF to C:/DirectOutput

Checked that the shortcuts are pointing to the correct folders

Unblocked any blocked .dll files

Set all .exe files to "Run as Administrator"

Registered the com object

Checked the registry for duplicate entries

Checked for duplicate copies of B2SServer

No matter what I do, I cannot get B2SServer to load the DirectOutput plugin. Never listed.  I have litterally spent days trying to get this to work.

Thank you again.

Some suggestions:

use 10.8.0 final (! - Not 10.8.1)

Never use any vpinball-related Programs "Run AS Administrator" - No Program needs this.

Already have an Account for DOF online config ?

Configured your DOF Toys / Ports in it ?

Downloaded your DOF config files within ? Saved them in ...\directoutput\config  folder ?

OMG!!  That did it!  Took me a while to stop dancing around the room before I typed this reply!  Not sure if it was visualPinball version but guess it was, but big shout to @digitalarts.  I can finally get on with my build.  Thank you! Thank you!
