B2S Problem

Hello,

New to all this so apologies in advance if my question(s) is/are lame.

I have been enjoying playing around revisiting my youth (I am old!!!) but when I make change in one spot other problems arise.

I am using a desktop with 2 displays.

When I launch a Virtual Pinball table the backbox appears on the second display but if I close the table and open another one the backbox from the previous table gets used not the one from the new table.

It has been driving me crazy trying to figure out where I screwed up.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have questions:
Do you use a Frontend? Does it work if you start tables with vpx directly?

Do this to isolate the problem:

Launch a table directly from Visual Pinball (not through frontend)

Close it

Launch a different table

 If it works → problem is your frontend
 If not → problem is B2S or file naming

 

 

Which version of b2s server is running?
Do you have the EXACT same name for backglass and table?
like

AddamsFamily.vpx

AddamsFamily.directb2s
right click on your backglass, check the menu for: "use exact directb2s name" - is it enabled?
