supermegapaul Posted April 1 Posted April 1 (edited) Hi all, I've recently setup 64-bit directoutput to work with my cab. VPX tables light up my LED strip and my shaker motor does its thing. I'm now trying to get PinupMenu to use dof effects (specifically some lights effects when navigating through the menus). My preference is to re-use my x64 setup because I had to use some Zebboard's custom dll's to get it working and I use 64 bit vpx. Questions: - can I configure more verbose logging from pinup/popper? I don't see a general popper log file at all. - I see that the popper frontend starts everything as 32-bit apps. Am I launching it wrong? I just upgraded pinup to the latest 1.5.2 manually and run vpx 10.8x etc. All the latest stuff to my knowledge. Edited April 1 by supermegapaul
NailBuster Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Popper requires\uses 32bit DOF com-object, also needed for Future Pinball and Zen FX3.
supermegapaul Posted April 2 Author Posted April 2 Thanks for your reply! I setup dof x86 and still seem to have a misconfiguration as it doesn't seem to get called from popper. I removed the registry entry for the 64 bit version and registered the com object for the 32 bit version. Is there somewhere I can look to confirm that popper is calling dof?
