PhartusMcBlumpkin Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Hi folks. I use a 32" 2K playfield setup and my Spectre 144hz crapped out so I'm picking up this new TCL 32G64 monitor [https://www.tcl.com/global/en/monitors/32g64](https://www.tcl.com/global/en/monitors/32g64) . My Spectre wasn't officially HDR certified or Gsync certified so I left everything off in the Nvidia app and just did a basic calibration with Windows 11 display settings (gamma, contrast, brightness, greyscale). That was 2 years ago, and I'm curious what today's recommendations would be for VPX tables. There's this old post here [https://vpuniverse.com/.../9999-proper-hdr-tone-mapping.../](https://vpuniverse.com/.../9999-proper-hdr-tone-mapping.../) recommending having Nvidia do their HDR thing for VPX, but that's a 2 year old post. I'm not a video expert and don't want to turn on features that will just cause issues, especially given the adjustments included in the F12 menu for the latest games. So, I'm curious what the latest guidance is on setting up a new monitor. This is a dedicated playfield monitor and I only play VPX games, so just want to optimize for that. The only thing else that will be played on this monitor is some vertical arcade games, but they certainly aren't going to require any advanced settings to look good. Thanks all!
