r3trogear Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) I have one last thing with my setup that is frustrating the hell out of me, and I cannot find the cause. Well two more things, ffmpg pops up on the playfield after a recording when doing it manually in popper, but thats a topic for another thread... all software involved is current as can be, Windows 11 25H2, Pinup Popper frontend, no background software running, RTX 3050, Ryzen 5 5300, 8 gig RAM. 3 screen setup, with full DMD. NO TVs, all monitors So, the issue is, from time to time, my playfield will pause/freeze/lose focus, whatever you wanna call it. I have to mouse click to start playing again. Most recently happened 5 minutes ago playing Batman 66. It happens randomly. sometimes a couple minutes into a game, sometimes 15 min+ and sometimes doesnt happen at all. I get no definitive answer from searching google or Gemini. I am almost ready to button this cabinet up and start playing. Granted I have bluetooth M/KB combo, but who the hell wants to whip that out just to "unfreeze" a table in the middle of a game? Is my backglass stealing focus? Anyone have an idea what could be happening? Please drop a suggestion if it has happened to you. Even if a workaround is required. maybe a script I to add to startup for keeping a certain display "alive" or a piece opf software that work from home users employ to simulate mouse clicks... whatever needs to be done. It is extremely frustrating. Thanks Edited March 14 by r3trogear
deadmanworking Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Could be some Windows function that kicks in if you hold certain keys too long or in combination like Sticky keys, language bar etc. What keys are your flippers assigned to?
