BillVP Posted February 14 Posted February 14 I'm new to trying Visual Pinball. I have several commercial pinball sims that work great. Is there a secret to better performance with Visual Pinball, or is it still very "experimental?" I get 5-10 FPS tops on my monitor and in VR mode, even after selecting "low-end pc" options with the GL version. All commercial games run great, even at max graphics settings. Direct-X is mostly playable, a little laggy, but has no VR option. Specs: 4K Monitor (Runs 3-4 FPS at 1080p) AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D NVidia RTX 5090 48 GB RAM Latest Non-Beta Visual Pinball (10.8.0 rev 2051) From reading, it seems like people with much lower specs have some way of getting better results. Thanks!
deadmanworking Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Hey man, your rig should run circles around any table you throw at it, something definitely is the matter. (for comparison, I'm running consistent 240fps on 1440p with a 3060.) What's your Vpinmame and B2S versions? Exclusive fullscreen mode?
