I’m planning my first full cabinet build, upgrading from a stubby controller and a portrait oriented monitor. I’m planning on going pretty all out with all the popular toys, lights, etc.

I’m also upgrading my PC while I’m at it, targeting 4K 120hz, but if I’m spending that much on the PC I’d like to be able to use it for more than just pinball. That in itself is no problem, I’ll probably have it duel boot to isolate the pinball setup from other programs and such, but what I don’t want is to have to have everything in the cabinet powered on if all I’m doing is using the PC like a normal computer.

The only way I’ve really heard to power everything on with one switch is using a smart power strip to power on outlets when the PC draws power from the master outlet, obviously that won’t work here. It’d probably be easier if I just had the PC outside the cabinet, then I could just swap the PC power cable or something, but I would really prefer to keep it built inside the cabinet if I can. Can anyone offer suggestions for how I should go about this? Thanks for any help.
