After a long Time, I'm on my PinCade machine to install some new Tables. At the above mentioned Table, i get no virtual DMD 🤔.

Even If I switch with "alt"+"Tab" between the Windows, there is no DMD. Please can anybody help to get it to work?

Many thanks, Ingo

P.S.: Sorry, my english is not the best...🫣

So, do you use the internal vpinmame dmd or dmdext with color dmd?
Start setup.exe or setup64.exe in vpinmame depending on your system and load the rom you are using. Does that internal DMD work?
You say you haven't used your cab for a long time.
That means you haven't done any updates for a long time. I guess that's your problem. Some newer tables require an up-to-date VpinMame, an up-to-date b2s server, and and up-to-date VPX. And up to date dmdext for color dmds
Don't forget to make a backup before you update.

Thanks for your useful hints. I will update my system as soon as possible.

I use the internal vpinmame, so I will try to check the rom as you said.

I'll be back after doing so and give response if these things solved my problem.

Many thanks for now.

Dear Tikimaster,

It was probably because I had forgotten a few things over time.

I wasn't using the internal VPinDMD—I had remembered it wrong. When I called up setup to test it, I got a message saying that it wasn't installed.

So I found the “XDMD” folder and started searching there.

Long story short: I pressed “F1” at the table, checked the box for “use external DMD,” and everything worked as usual. Display positioned and secured; everything is fine.

Thank you very much for your quick help.

Otherwise, I would have gotten completely stuck in my installation—you forget a lot when you don't stay on the ball.

I know. But - don´t be lazy - you will be forced to make updates with new tables anyway.. 🙂 Nice to hear its running..

Unfortunately, a new problem has cropped up:

When loading, some tables say that not all textures etc. can be loaded, with a note to use the 64-bit version.

When I do that (VPinballX64.exe), no tables can be started, with the message "Script Error, object required controller".

Do you have any tips for me?

---> Ok, I've done all theupdates and now it seems to work. My brain is cooking... So many thanks. Have I to close this conversation or mark it as done?
