Hi, thankful for all help Í can get.

Im on a Fresh baller installation, on every table Ive got the ball starts to bounce up and down on the plunger tip as soon as I start the game with '1", completely defying physics and never stops unless I pull the plunger so it can rest on the back of the plunger lane without touching the plunger.

I dont have an analogue plunger, so thats not the issue.

Thanks in advance

I have this with  a few tables (mainly EM ones for some reason) but its a small issue imo, some can be sorted by moving the plunger back in the editor slightly.

Saying that i have a plunger attached to my cabinet so that might be my issue, because the slight ball bounce has never bothered me i havent really looked to sort it,

but i just came across this that might even be of info for yourself.

Scroll about half way down.

Ill try that out myself tomorrow.

Thanks, I saw that earlier and it all reference to pinscape, which I dont have anyway. Ive tried to actually move the plunger in the editor but it just ends up with the plunger not having enough stroke to even hit the ball. and adjusting this for every table I have would be a pain.

I can also add that I had an installation up till yesterday that didnt have this issue at all, but I for other reasons uninstalled it and today Im wrestling with this on a fresh install. And yeah, the issue isnt a disaster on all tables, but those that need a half plunge or so for a skills hot its impossible.

Oh im just talking about half a mm type bounce, you have anything connected today that you didnt have yesterday?

Sounds obvious , but if it was all ok yesterday and no hardware change, then something isnt correct on your reinstall somewhere.

No, mine bounces like 5 inches, halfway up the plunge lane...  Exactly the same system as yesterday, no changes.

Says pinscape but the overall info on this link might be of help.

Can you disconnect your plunger temporarily to see if the ball still bounces.

If so at least then you will know if the plunger is a part and/or cause or not.

my plunger is Enter on my keyboard :)  I dont have a cabinet, just a setup with multiple monitors.

Maybe it's a connected Joystick, which "creates" some micro nudges with the analog axes?

Thanks!

I didn't want to believe it at first but I think this was the answer, I use my rig for a lot (simulations of all sorts) and have 30+ usb devices connected. unplugged everything I didn't deem necessary for pinball and the issue seem to have gone away. Guess I have to invest in some more good usb hubs to make my life easier to switch around between setups..

Annoying tho that everything worked fine a few days ago :)
