arminio Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) I am currently moding "Wolfenstein 3D - 30. Anniversary Edition" table, trying to get it more like a real pinball machine but still with the Wolf3D DOS touch... I have permission from original creator and I hope he won't be disappointed. Here is a little "sneak peek" screenshot to my re-design of upper part of table (based on original 1991 DOS game promo poster) in a sort of "attract mode" (light show... it is not so dark when you start playing ) I won't show bottom part or entire table and apron yet (there are some design choices that I consider a bit "radical" in terms visual impact, so I am not sure I'll keep it...)... but you can see direction I am going... + I added new desktop mode background, multiplay mode, changed some rules (make some things easier, some harder, added skill shot...), added some new sounds (from original DOS version and also from "Spear of Destiny" sequel) + some original sounds + music score tracks + LUTs etc. etc. etc. ... I also created new b2s with some animated lights... and many more stuff... Still work in progress (lack of time prevents me to dig into it more ) but I hope it will be done in a week or two... arminio Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 OK - mod is finished and ready for test - Curse, read PM! Also, here is a small "peek" in a part of a backglass graphics. As you see, for now, backglass it is not much in a style of original DOS game (table still is) - it is more "inspired" with the game. There are still corridors, Blazkowicz, Nazis... but I wanted a look in a style of classic backglass graphics... I think will fits nicely to my table look... I hope you'll like it when you see entire "combo" (if not, me or someone else can always make a new mod more in a DOS style ).
