What have a backglass display to do? Almost nothing... mostly a static picture with some small scoring areas. Or sometimes a pup pack video.

So imho, every cheap tv is good enough for this job.

I would try find a used 4:3 monitor on ebay, like a Dell 2007Fpb.  Far better aspect ratio for backglasses that were nearly square anyway. But if you already have a backbox built then you may need to get a monitor that fills it.

No large size 4:3 were ever made though, the 19" (and the rare 20" Dell) are too small even for a minicab. LG Dualup tilted by 90 degrees would work better (18:16 aspect ratio ;) but probably still too small for an a true to life sized backbox.
