PeteyZorz Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 I'm pinball obsessed, always been, i love this stuff, these tables are my soul man, lol. ive been messing with vp since like 2008ish, tinkered & played with it allot through the years, and this has really come along way, it blows my mind how great it has become. i love you guys for all the labor and love that made this all exist, it's truly a special thing. dabbled with vpvr in 2020 with my pandemic stimulus i impulse bought a quest 2 and a used gtx1070... the 1070 didnt pull it off that great, it worked, but it was always a fight to want it to look better and not being satisfied... trying to play other games on the quest either made me seasick or just didnt interest me. eventually my quest got shoved in a closet and collected dust for 4 years... but then.... theeeennnnnn.... i just got my hands on a 5060, a modern lower-mid teir card, not the greatest, not the worst... it's doing it! i thought for sure it wouldnt work this good cuz it's just a 60, but vpvr is running beautifully! i dont have all the oculus settings cranked to max, but it's good enough, gorgeous in fact, and blowing my entire mind. Probably a 5070 wld be a bit better for sliding that oculus rez up up up, but it seems like weve hit that sweet spot gen where you can get a decently great vpvr experience on a 60 series card.
