TMNT 2.0 for Vpin

Hey guys,

 

Massive thanks to Chad from Pinball Code who reached out to us ahead of his TMNT 2.0 code update so that we could work on implementing his changes into our color file. It's been a while since this one has seen any major updates, but we ended up going through everything and kind of got fixated on not only updating the project for new scenes, but also redoing and adding some extra visuals to the existing scenes, especially for the VPIN and x32 versions.

 

We plan to do a lot more, but wanted to get something out now so people can utilise Chad's excellent update and we will release a final 2.0 update shortly. Make sure to update your firmware to 4.57 if you are running a PIN2DMD as we now support the latest version.

 

For people who have our real pin version, we are rolling out this update starting today for free as well. While a lot of the changes are added for the 2.0 code, you can still enjoy the update on the 1.04 code version, especially for people with our full size x32 TMNT Hero Kit.

Please do not ask for the real pin version. We do not sell files. The VPIN version and all updates are free.

 

We are also still working on many other color files with authors, so while we may not be as activate on the forum, we are focusing alot of our time on making the existing files better for everyone (along with a bunch of new content to be announced soon).

Hi Terranigma, I just downloaded the new 2.0, unfortunately it doesn’t work on my vpin real dmd. It just displays the red color. The 1,2 version does work.

Thanks for the information. I'm mainly a real pin user myself but it looks like some people have been able to get it working who posted under the file comments. This file uses the very latest version of the Pin2DMD editor and I'm not sure if any new features need to be updated or supported on the VPIN side of things.

Thanks for the response,  I have 2 friends that are using lcd that couldn’t get it to work either. Hopefully it will get figured out.

Works perfectly fine on LCD with dmdext2.3.1 and pin2color plugin installed. Thanks Terranigma for sharing.
