Hello

I am new to pinup popper.

I have 3 screens.

Screen 1 is my primary screen, it is 16:9 Portrait - my playfield.

Screen 2 is 16:9 landscape - my backsplash.

Screen 3 is 16:9 landscape - my 16:9 full DMR + miniDMR(hidden)

In the config - I set the rotation of the playfield to 90.

However when I launch the front end - the menu is located on the side of the screen rather than the bottom.

How do I correct this?  I very much want to keep my playfield screen in portrait.

Thanks

Smokey

You cannot. it WILL NOT work

Pinup Popper is VERY specific in the installation

You just have accept the main playfield is in landscape mode and accept the sideways view

I tried that when I first installed PinUp Popper, as I didn't want to look at my main screen sideways and used portrait mode for the playfield and rotated the table 90 degrees

It just doesn't work and WILL mess up the layouts of your table, as you are finding out

The image below shows how the screens HAVE to be EXACTLY like this layout with the playfield HAS to be in landscape mode, if you have 2 or more screens. I use 3 screens with a small 10 inch touch screen monitor for the DMD and everything works as it needs to be

@SmokeyCC rotation 90 means you rotate to the side from portrait view, so you'd need to put rotation 0.

However I agree with @steptoesyard that you will make your life a lot easier if you stick to all screens in landscape mode and scaling 100%.

Then, if you need portrait mode for servicing the cab, you could add a .bat file that rotates the display by 90 degrees with a tool called Multimonitortool, and another .bat to rotate it back when starting the Popper/VPX software. You can even have them run automatically before the software starts and closes, guess this would be closest to the desired effect. (Running it like this with PinballX but I see no reason it wouldn't be similar with Popper)
