Cannot open VPX editor 10.7 or 10.8

Not sure if windows updates caused this but I cannot open the VPX 10.7 or 10.8 editors. 32bit 64bit or GL

VPX works fine in PinUP Popper but when I open the actual editor the window just flashes and shows as not responding.

 

I saw one similar post on Reddit but the user just rebuilt windows and it went away. I really dont want to do that.

 

Any suggestions?
