GOLDORAK V2.0 with PUP-PACK

Now is the time to introduce you to the new version of Goldorak. 

 

I spent many hours modifying the script and creating a PUPPACK for this table.

My testers obviously loved it and I hope it will be the same for all of you.

In return, I expect many reviews from you, this will motivate me and if something does not suit you, let me know so that I can progress for the next one.

 

The changes are:

 

-Ball dynamics and flip reaction corrected.

-Added two Spinners, there were none and I found that a shame.

-Slowing down the rotation of the various objects on the Playfield (saucer, seat, etc.)

-Trajectory of the ball entering the pinball machine modified and removal of the central kicker between flips because it made the games endless.

-Modification of the lighting on the playfield, much too glowy.

-Creation of Sides Blades.

-Modification of the DMD for the presentation which is now done in the PUP and darker DMD score background.

 

A big thank you also to LAROUILLAS for the loading and the topper.

 

VPX Version: I tested in VPX 10.8 64 Bit but works in 10.7.
⚠️ Note that it is in French for two reasons, the first is what was asked of me by fans of the anime and secondly because it is the support that I had available. I'm not planning an English version, really sorry.

Top et bravo pour cette table française ! cocorico !

 

Peut être un axe d'amélioration c'est d'avoir un dossier puppackvideo sous le meme nom que la rom a savoir Goldorak_PUP (on peut le modifier dans le script) mais ca serait facile pour le suivi dans vpinstudio par exemple.

 

A noter que j'ai une erreur au lancement  avec le message : 

BASS music/sound library cannot create stream c:\user\joe\Desktop\mu_multiball.mp3 (Error 21: no 3D support)

--> si on fait ok la table charge.

 

Je suis surpris d'avoir un dossier 'user\joe' je pense qu'il y a une init valeur qui ne doit pas etre bonne.

J'ai trouvé le problème...il peut apparaitre en fonction de la config du son .

 

le fichier son  BLANK.mp3 est en mono dans la table  je l'ai exporté modifié en stéréo puis remplacé...

Ok, I want to be as democratic as possible (but given the situation it is still very difficult) I want to clarify the situation regarding this table, and I hope it is the last time.

Honestly, since I'm not mentioned at all, I have to assume that "vpforums" hasn't clarified the situation yet.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Paolo (aka Wild) and I'm an author of (many) tables for FP.

Really??nothing could be further from the truth....no offense, who is Balutito? It wasn't him you had to ask permission from....

"Rom" (French) my companion from the glorious days in "Pinsimdb" is the original author of this table for Future Pinball, under the name of Goldorak, here is a picture of his original table.....look at her....... He has not made updated versions since. Obviously I asked to Rom for permission to update the table,if anyone were to ask.

This is my version,.....look at her....... Goldrake(Italian version) with many more features, templates, model,scripts,music,sound,and much more.

Do you think there's something different between the two versions? Which one is the version you posted above more similar to? I'm being ironic.

 

Let me explain, Javier... I have already had a discussion with his about this,he took my version of FP Goldrake (which I'm still updating, see in PN) without him worrying to ask my permission first, so he completely ignored me and converted my version into vpx, and not content Javier deleted my name in script (really disrespectful) with that he also masked(another version) it by changing the name "Goldrake" from the Playfield and in apron and inserted Goldorak, in short the version that you JoeD published.

Yet,and...... I'm worked for months to create what you modified or added for vpx,and I conclude, I was not asked permission, and this makes me very irritated especially since continue to ignore me and not give me credit, let's be clear that's my version!

Oh sorry about all that, I'll explain and I'll put your name in the credits.

I tried to find out directly on VPU and on the table who the creators were, and I only saw Javier, Balutito and ROM.

If I would have had the slightest idea that you were the original creator, I would have asked your permission because I always do it during my PUPs. When I say that I spent hours on it it is mainly for the addition of the PUP calls in the script and the repair of the DOF for this table that many asked me.

I made the few modifications that were also requested of me to make the game more fluid. I have proof of this by the very positive opinions on these changes.

I would like to apologize again for not having contacted you to do all of this, but seriously it's not always easy to know who to ask.

 

(I was modifying the script to add dynamic color changes to the table, including changing the DOF, but I abandoned the idea and didn't touch anything anymore)
