Good evening, I have a KL25Z board with the latest version of Pinscape (at least I think so). I've configured two solenoids for the pinball machines in my system. I've already correctly configured the two correct PWM ports on my Pinscape in the DOF Config Tool.

When I run the internal test on Pinscape and select the output test, everything works fine. First, I'll specify that I've set the flipper logic on both ports to 250ms/33% (if I set it less than 33%, the solenoid won't stay active), thus preventing the solenoid from burning out. I've already placed a diode in parallel across the two solenoid wires, and then everything goes to a 4-channel MOSFET (smallcab), and then finally to the KL25Z outputs.

When I run a table for actual testing, I notice that after inserting the credit and starting the game, if I quickly press one of the two flipper, the solenoid doesn't have time to respond.

That is, if I press the flipper for about a second or so between each press/release, the solenoid seems to be working properly. But if I start pressing the flipper very quickly, the solenoid, already under pressure, can't detach itself for a short time before reactivating with the little travel it has, enough for me to feel it activated.

What causes this problem? Thx!

Hello, by chance, I was making progress with the PinCab. I happened to try playing other tables and noticed that the microflip problem was gone. In fact, after trying Tron Legacy, I returned to Medieval Madness out of curiosity, and the microflip problem was still there. As I mentioned above, it's not that the microflips don't work; the problem was with the solenoid not responding when I perform microflips. So, at this point, it seems more DOF-related. In fact, there are some tables where the solenoid doesn't respond well when I repeatedly press the flipper in a very short time (precisely when performing microflips). I noticed problems with tables like Attack From Mars, Medieval Madness, Cactus Canyon, and many others. However, everything worked fine with tables like Tron Legacy, Cyber Race, Junk Yard, and others. I already have the latest version of the config downloaded from the "DOF Config Tool 3.0" website. Below I show you a short video of Tron Legacy where the microflips are executed correctly and the solenoid activates perfectly without any delay or lack of activation.
