Hi,

I’ve been experiencing extremely slow download speeds on VPUniverse — around 20 KB/s instead of the usual 300 MB+. I’m located in Israel, and this issue has persisted for over a week.

Could someone please look into this and help resolve it? I’m a Gold Member.

Thank you!

No problem here in USA when I did a few downloads today everything is moving very fast.

From time to time, I have the same problem from Germany. When I use my VPN in such cases, I have a normal, fast connection using an endpoint in the US... So the problem lies between my provider and the network in the USA. This has nothing to do with VPUniverse, but with some lousy node on the Internet. There's nothing Dazz can do about that. Normally, this “snail state” never lasts more than a few hours, then everything goes back to normal speed.

In the US it seems fine, but in other countries—like Israel—the download speed is still very slow. This issue started about a week ago, and nothing has changed on my end or with my internet provider, so it appears the problem is on VPUniverse’s side. My guess is that they fixed the slow connection for some regions but not for others, including Israel.

@Dazz We need your help please

As Tiki stated above... It's not a VPU server issue. I've had the server host check it out from a server standpoint. There is a node or something that's being re-routed from your ISP/Country to the VPU servers hosted in the US. If I route my VPN via Israel or Germany, I too see the slowdown. However, I'm seeing normal speeds through other countries without issue. I've not made any changes, other than frontend software updates, on the VPU end in over a year.

You may not have made any changes, and you say your ISP hasn't made changes... However, there is something going on between ISP and possibly the Cloudflare servers. Unfortunately, I don't have any idea as to what it could be, but its not the VPU server.
