ACDC VINTAGE (BON SCOTT TRIBUTE) PUP-PACK – ACDC LUCI TABLE

Official download (includes PuP-Pack and muted ROM):
https://mega.nz/file/bFsXjIpK#jLFNDbC_3CuHMgayacCQ7lHiDRweZ4P0PkrFNqdmgFo

This is a repackage of the AC/DC Luci PuP-Pack, originally created by hawkeyez88, with his permission — thank you to hawkeyez88 for the original work and inspiration.

I’ve kept the two intro videos from the original pack intact, but replaced most of the gameplay and game-over content to focus on early-era AC/DC footage (1978–1983)

GAMEPLAY MUSIC VIDEO SELECTION
Features early AC/DC performances, official music videos, and concert footage for a true vintage feel

SONG REPLACEMENTS FOR VINTAGE ACCURACY
“War Machine” → If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)
“Rock and Roll Train” → The Girl’s Got Rhythm
These songs were released in 2012, long after the classic era. They were replaced with early-era tracks to maintain the authentic 1978–1983 feel

GAMEPLAY VIDEO LOOPS
Designed to capture the raw energy of the classic era

GAME OVER SEQUENCES
New montages and interviews featuring early AC/DC performances

WHO IS BON SCOTT / BRIAN JOHNSON

Bon Scott (1946–1980) was the original lead singer of AC/DC, known for his distinctive raspy voice and energetic stage presence. Before joining the band as their frontman, he actually worked as their chauffeur! Scott helped define AC/DC’s hard rock sound on classic albums like High Voltage, Let There Be Rock, Powerage, and Highway to Hell

After Scott’s tragic death in 1980, Brian Johnson was brought in to replace him. Johnson was chosen because his vocal style and energy closely matched Scott’s raspy, powerful voice — essentially to keep the spirit and feel of Bon Scott alive in the band

The album Back in Black (1980) was written as a tribute to Scott. The title track celebrates Scott’s life and energy while also signaling the band’s return (“back”) with a new singer

Love the videos! This is a fantastic pup and I really enjoy seeing the older Bon Scott videos playing.

Here is what I'd like to do and not sure if it can be done.

I want to keep the original pup running with the Luci table. I downloaded the AC-DC pro vault version and would like to use with this pup pack.

The problem is that there are two roms (original and muted) that have the same name, so using an alias won't help because I can only have one rom in the rom folder with that name.

Here is what I unsuccessfully tried so far:

I changed the rom pointer in the script to acdc_170 so it wouldn't interfere with the Luci version (which is pointing to acdc_170hc).

This works very well, but the song selections show the original song names and there is occasional play through of the original rom over the pup video.

So I tried renaming the muted rom to acdc_170, opened the zip folder and renamed the bin and dat files to acdc_170. that seemed to work but the DMD was going spastic.

Any advice is appreciated!

Well, looks like I turned something pretty simple into a very complex mess. After hours of trying different things I realized the AC-DC Luci premium table by VPW uses the acd-170h rom while the AC-DC pro vault table uses acd-170hc. So both tables have their own ROMS, their own PUP options, and it makes things a lot easier!

I have used the muted rom and the included pup pack, now there are no songs during gameplay, is there no music in the pup pack, I was told to use this download to get higher quality music for this table.
