Wrong button press recorded when assigning next page etc.

Not sure what is happening,  everything was working until it wasn't

In my dudes cab all my buttons show up properly when pressed,  in vpinx when I open a table and play all the buttons work correctly, but in pinup popper when I try to use flipper left/right or any of my cab buttons they don't work.

I then went to map the buttons in pinup popper and when I double click the input (like next game)  and press the right flipper button (or any other button on the cab) it comes up with weird key that looks like foreign languae, usually an accent mark above it, and the joy key always records as -1.

Not sure what to do Games work in vpinx just cant get to them with out using keyboard.
