RoccoC Posted September 28, 2025 Posted September 28, 2025 (edited) I’m selling my widebody virtual pinball cabinet, originally built in 2014-2015. The cabinet and all hardware are fully functional, including premium force feedback and lighting effects (contactors, shaker, knocker, RGB flashers, addressable LEDs, and more). I’m moving and unfortunately can’t take it with me, so this is a chance for someone to grab a complete, enthusiast‑grade build that’s ready for a new owner to set up with their own software environment. Located in Danville, CA (SF Bay Area) and open to delivering within a couple of hours’ drive. $1900 OBO Important note on software: The sale does not include the SSD or any preinstalled software. For legal reasons, the SSD will be removed prior to transfer. The buyer will need to install Windows and set up Visual Pinball X (VPX), DOF, and related software. I recommend using the Baller Installer with VPX 10.8 for a modern, streamlined setup. That said, the existing install is still in place for now, so prospective buyers are welcome to test the cabinet in action before purchase to see all toys and displays working. Here's the build sheet: 🖥️ Cabinet & Displays Widebody cabinet build with anti-glare playfield glass Playfield: Samsung UN46EH6000 (46" 1080p/60Hz) there is a small scratch on the display (see pics) - not visible when powered on Backglass: Samsung UN32EH4050 (32") Real Vishay dot matrix display driven by pinDMD2 + custom transformer/PSU board Logitech Z-5300 4.1 Speaker System with subwoofer powering 2 backglass speakers and 2 in-cab speakers for effects 🕹️ Controls & Interface RGB flipper buttons with leaf switches Working coin door (insert quarters or press coin return to add credits) with functional service buttons KL25Z Freescale board for nudge/tilt sensing iPac2 control interface Illuminated exit, start, and Launch Ball buttons Undercab power button 💡 Force Feedback & Lighting (Toys) LED‑Wiz (32 fused outputs) driving: RGB flasher bar with Cree LEDs + strobes RGB flipper buttons 8 Siemens 3RH1140‑1BB40 contactors (flippers, bumpers, slingshots, etc.) Gear motor (ball/gear effects) Shaker motor (rumble effects) Authentic 24V knocker in backbox Start and launch ball buttons Teensy 3.2 with 4 addressable LED strips (2 undercab, 2 along playfield sides) Dedicated ATX PSU powering all of the above 💻 PC Hardware Intel i5‑4460 processor 12GB RAM GTX 560 Ti graphics card Upgrade opportunities include: Retrofitting of a 43" 4K playfield display Upgrade the PC (modern GPU, more RAM) Apply some artwork and paint/powdercoat the raw steel legs and side rails Add an addressable LED matrix Add surround sound feedback (SSF) But overall the cab is ready-to-go as is.
