Updating to latest VP software

This is my first time here so I hope I am not looking for something that has already been answered. I installed VP 4 years ago with Baller at that time and everything has been working just great. I want to bring everything up to the latest so I opened Pinup Popper Setup to do so but I did not have the Web Link Icon that would do this for me. I looked at the update page but got confused when some of the files there are no longer available. I am lost as to where to start as I don't want to screw up what I already have working so nicely. Can I just do the "PinUP_Baller_update_Jan_2023.zip" or is there something else I should do first? I sure would appreciate any help I can get. I haven't used the VP machine for several years but have more time now to get back at it and would like to bring it up to date without having to redo everything and load in some of the latest games.

Bumping b/c I'm literally doing the same thing!  Turned back my VPin after (at least) a year away- my PinUp exe version is:

1.46.28

 

In those "before" times, I regularly used it- was fully set up with working SSF, many tables, etc.  I would love to move to PUP's newer versions- thoughts on how best to proceed?

imo, the second section (Upgrade PinUP Popper and Player v1.5 (beta)) should be the correct one

 

read everything carefully and proceed step by step.

(PS- this site, along with VP forums and the MJRnet build guide were my bible when creating my VPin from scratch.  So glad to see that those resources are still active).
