FX and Arcade1UP DMD..

I recently gutted my Arcade1UP (AFM) machine and built from the bones a VPin machine around Steam/Pinball FX. 

 

Got Doflinx  working with a B2S server for animated backglass.  Next step was to look at the DMD.  I pulled the cover off the backbax and 3D printed a new cover for the covered up and much larger DMD.  (800x480)

Install dmdextensions (probably need to uninstall and put this at c:/dmdext so I can edit things easier.. LOL...

Issues:

1. On loading Pinball FX until I get into a table I see the Windows Screen on the DMD.
How do I get it to display a default image or just blank the DMD?

2. No matter what I have tried I cannot get it to make the DMD on a given table (only tried a few) to fill the screen (800 x480) or come even close it it.  And the top and bottom background is the windows wallpaper. 

How can I get the DMD to fill more of the screen? 

How can I get a blank/image/something at the top and bottom of the DMD instead of windows wallpaper. 

 

The DMD is some kind of HDMI LCD device, I think.  It shows up as a monitor under W11 800x480

after much playing around got this to work with one oddity...

Funhouse seems to require that you load the table, exit and then reload to get the DMD to work.  All others tables so far are ok. 
Very strange although Funhouse is the only alpha type display table I have...

Edit: it is any table with a alpha numeric display on the dmd that acts this way.  Load table, no DMD, exit and reload and DMD is there.  Annoying but ok.
