Adding border to the DMD

Afternoon,
I was wondering how you enable a border on the DMD using Frezzys'/DMDExt (see image below) akin to the border seen in the internal VPinMAME DMD? Is it something you can enable via the DMDDevice.ini or does it involve backgrounds and B2S?

 

Thanks in advance.

 

NB. I am looking to simply add a single colour border around the DMD area and not the additional (Fish Tales) artwork as seen below
