JamsterJulien1968 Posted August 13, 2025 Posted August 13, 2025 (edited) Hey all, I'm just setting up my cabinet and I can't get nudging to work in visual pinball X. The dude's cab configurator is showing movement for the accelerometer, nothing happens in a table (Addams Family or Bride Of Pinbot tested). ChatGPT is telling my Dude's Cab should install a virtual joystick, and VPX uses that for a analogue input - is that correct ? I have nothing in my device manager for that. I have the following ticked in VisualPinballX : Enable Nudge Filer Enable Analog Nudge Normal Board Mounting Orientation Analog Nudge Input Is Velocity Tilt Sensitivity : 800 My cab is running Windows 11. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated ! Edited August 13, 2025 by JamsterJulien1968
deadmanworking Posted August 13, 2025 Posted August 13, 2025 You might need to bump up the sensitivity in the Dude's Cab setup quite a bit, I have mine at 800%. Then check again that you have X-axis and Y-Axis set with the Axis alignment. (I have my Y axis inverted also.) My values are X-Max 100 and X-Gain 150%. Then try the Nudge calibration test table that comes with your installation and see if you get any response at all.
