Question regarding the table.ini file, can it go to another folder besides next to the .vpx in the tables folder?

Hi everybody,  Im a newb so excuse my newbness.

 

I have a question regarding the table.ini file that is created when you make overrides to the tables (F12), can I direct it to  go to another folder besides next to the .vpx in the tables folder?

I was wondering because I only have a small SSD and would like to use my NAS to house my .vpx files. I would like to access these .vpx files on my NAS from my desktop computer and my ALP machine. It would be nice to store that .ini file in an ini folder so both could share the same .vpx. Wondering if what I am asking is clear. Oh well, if anyone knows a way to do this, LMK please.
