I've had a vpin cabinet (mini since way back vp9 days its always been converted and updated and runs everything up to the current tables,  recently I tried a RIFT S that my son had and saw the potential for VR pinball.   I feel like i'm right back at the start all over again,  I've made a vr controller out of my old pc cardboard box  so i've got flipper buttons and magnasave and coin and start and plunger buttons,  the vr headset working fine and am able to load up tables and everything seems great.   But I know there are a few out there that probably have their setup dialed in tweaked out and optimized,  I'd like to hear how someone who feels they have it exactly tuned right what their setup is.   from frontend to graphics tweaks etc.   I have several computers so I tested it on a  gtx 980  a gtx 1070  a gtx 1660ti   a rtx 4070ti and finally settled on running it on a gtx 1080ti which is the sweet spot I found with what I had available.   so thats what its on  now   RIFT S I picked up locally on marketplace for 100 bucks,     the machine i'm using it on runs Launcbox and emulates tons of games to a tv,   and I'm thinking of using it as my frontend so you can pick pinball tables and then just put on the headset and play.  but if there is a better way the I'm all ears.   most of the guides i've found are old or the software has changed and options arent where they say  and might be totaly different now.      steam vr  vs OpenComposite etc?

Not much has changed, well maybe from the VP9 days things have :) If anything VR Pinball is more awesome. Using Steam VR is still the only "supported" way until 10.8.1 is released and changes everything but for now I have always run with Open Composite instead od Steam while many others prefer using Virtual Desktop wirelessly. You might want to think about just adding the VR capability to your vpin cab as if you have any SSF this would work/be the most realistic way to play. Join our VR Pinball Discord, there you will find a growing, friendly group of VR Pinball lovers that can help you update to the latest....oh and Basti's VPX Launcher is an awesome front end for VR....and 2D/Pancake. Noticed you just joined the Discord....but I'll leave this reply here anyway 👍
