Pinevent strange happenings

Question

Posted

So, recently was updating my software, i do it on a seperate 3 monitor setup outside of my cab. And setup the pinevent tables I was missing, all worked, outside of my cab. Put the PC and GPU back in the cab with the drive and now it is displaying pinevent tables on my backbox screen. Only way I could get it on the correct screen was to unplug the other 2 monitors. Went through the guides, didnt see anything relasted to this, screens are setup correctly, it will not display on the main playfield. Any ideas?

Yes. Only setup your VPin software and apps and tables on your actual cabinet connected to your actual monitors / controllers. Otherwise you will run into these kind of problems as you will confuse Windows with monitors IDs, etc.

Make sure everything is plugged in. Then run this BAT file. Then restart your PC.

Then if needed configure your FP playfield and backbox in FP video settings. You need to change to whatever DISPLAY # "works" to display them on the correct monitor. It may not match the same # as what Windows Display settings shows.

Also, if using pup-packs and Popper, make sure you are entering PinEvent in Games Manager for each PinEvent table as directed in each table's install instructions.
