Pinscape Issues ~ Balls won't plunge, moves a few inches falls back even on full plunge

Hi Guys,

 

I've got an issue that has come up.

My Vpin will no longer plunge the ball out of the shooter lane. 

The Vpin had been sitting for some time and when I booted it up I now have this problem.

The guy who built my Vpin for me, used rubber bands to mount the Pinscape in the back of the cabinet. Over time they disintegrated so I have since mounted the pinscape firmly via plastic stand offs and screws.

Keep in mind before I re-mounted the pinscape this problem was present. I was hoping the solid mount would fix the problem.

 

Anyhow long story short when I plunge the ball just moves a few inches then comes back. It seems like the tables are tilted way too steep maybe?

I have gone into the Pinscape setting and re-centered etc and also re-calibrated the plunger, with no luck.

I'm kinda stuck and not sure what else can be done?

 

I could post a video if that helps explain this, but I'm wondering if anybody else has had this issue?

That was the first thing I did. It was calibrated fine and works. Plunger is not the issue. The tilt/angle is. When the ball is put into the shooter lane I can see that it wants to go down and to the right. So my level is the issue. I recentered in the pinscape software and it seems to have fixed the issues on some table yet most are still not fixed.

you're right, i overllooked that.
check the orientation of the pinscape and the orientation inside the configtool. do they match?
how does your configuration inside vpx look like? screenshot of nudge, key and... would help

It's back to being off for all tables. I thought turning it to manual would work but no.  

 

I've played with all 3 setting types adjusting the jitter for plunger etc. 

Really stuck and can't play any tables.

Orientation is set correctly also.  

 

Wondering if I should just put the controller back to being loosely mounted on rubber bands. Not sure if I have a picture of how it was setup like that.
