Diablo DMD problem

I installed the Diablo pin on my cab. It has a really cool ultra vp for scoring on the full DMD, however I am ending up with a 2nd DMD over top of this partially covering it and I can't figure out how to get rid of or move this extra DMD.

 

There is no ROM so I can't hit F1 to select hide external DMD. I have tried to move it, but every time I restart the table this extra DMD is back in the same place. 

 

Not sure how to resolve this.

 

Please help.
