Hi,

Unfortunately, I've been having a problem for a while now that my Pin2DMD can't display the new 65k Serum V2 properly.
I constantly experience crashes, or the game starts with a black DMD.
I recently installed the new Truck Stop color file from ebor, and only fragments are displayed. So, unfortunately, I can't use it. But that only affects the 65k files! 64 runs perfectly, and otherwise, everything works perfectly.
For example, I have no problems at all with the 64-color V2 files Diner or Bad Cats from ebor, or even the new Sopranos file from Kraken. I've tried so many things and updated everything to the latest version, but I can't get the 65k files to run properly.

Sometimes I also have problems with older files, like Cactus Canyon. I sometimes get incorrect colors or images are temporarily out of date. But there's always a message, and it might just be something wrong with the color file. The message is always there, in any case.

Does anyone have any idea what to do?
As far as I know, I'm up to date with everything:
DMD is version 4.51 - but I seem to have a very old controller without a mini SD card.
PIN2DMD Tool is V3.0
Scaler mode is set to none in the DMDdevice.ini
dmdext.exe is 2.3.1
dmdext_64x is 2.2.1

Is anyone having similar problems?
Are the 65k files generally a problem for the Pin2DMD SD card?
Could it be my old hardware? I bought my Pin2DMD used, and it's a few years old.
Or have I configured something incorrectly that's causing the problem?

I'm grateful for any advice!

Thanks!

I tested 65k Serum with the Tron Colorization and the latest (2.3.1) version of dmdext in both 64 and 32bit without a problem.

For pin2dmd colorizations I used my plugin

I also tried your new plugin. But when I overwrite the old files with your new ones, the DMD stop working.

I‘m a bit confused why I had a dmdext and a dmdext_64x in my folder. Because there are only dmdext files in the downloads. Maybe I have to check my complete vpinmame folder for files I don’t need anymore. Maybe these files cause the problem. Is there a good overview anywhere where I can check if my vpinmame folder is correct?
