Color/brightness difference between 2 machines

I have 2 cabinets. One has not been updated for 2.5 years and still runs 32bit VPX 10.7.2. The other one runs everything the latest version and 64bit. Both Nvidia GPU's, in case that matters.

 

It has come to my attention, having them now next to each other, that I have a visual difference between the 2. One seems lighter/brighter than the other. This can not be a monitor setting, since the difference is visible on all 3 monitors equally, on each (playfield, backglass and DMD).

 

Since I don't want to mess anything up too much, and especially don't want to blindly upgrade the neglected one and lose the (warmer) colors: Any suggestions why this might be?
