Popper Screens Randomly Fail

Migrated to a new computer with a fresh Baller install and my backglass, full dmd and playfield videos randomly stop playing while navigating. The wheels, music and menu are still running and I can still select games but restarting popper is the only way to bring the screens back. I've had some other issues with screens I leave on failing as well, but not as often. No errors or log files either. Looks like maybe a VLC issue but I am using the one provided with popper. 

I've seen others mention this problem, but no solutions, Would hate to move to a different front end.

Auch bei mir fallen beim Durchblättern der Spielliste plötzlich Playfield, Backglass und auch der Sound aus. Spiele lassen sich aber weiterhin über das Menü starten und spielen Die Bildschirme sind aber erst nach Neustart wieder zu sehen.
