Hello, I have a cabinet virtual pinball and I tried to adjust one table yesterday and now pinup popper doesn t start and leave a mutiple windows messages. Does anyone know what´s going on?

There are these messages in the game controllers and I suspect that this is what is causing the crash problem. I tried to configure the cabinet buttons that are not working because of this crash but when I double click on the tab, the pinup window does not respond and I cannot configure the buttons. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Getting this exact error message right now, and no buttons are stuck.

Anyone know how to fix it? System was working last night, today I cant launch popper. All tables work great running direct from vpx.

Running Popper 2.0.and was fully working.

Alien,  Did you ever solve your issue?   I have disconnected both controllers and my sound card and no luck.    I applied a Windows update two night ago and it returned a "server execution failed..." Followed by "PinUpMenu.exe Access Violation"

Yes.

You will need to uninstall this "preview update" that occured last week in Windows 11 as seen in the screenshot.

It will restore your Popper's ability to function.

Hopefully it can be resolved by the end of the month with workarounds, before it is made a MANDATORY update at the end of JUNE.

I also recommend turning off the option "Get the latest updates as soon as they're avilable" or it could re-install it without your go ahead.

Good luck!

@Alien  Take your hero of the day badge!  This update rolled over to me overnight and this solved it.  I had guests over and we decided to play pinball at like 9pm and so glad this darned update hadn't been installed or it would have been frustrating and embarassing.  Turned automatic updates back off.  Haven't had issues in a long while, but this was a bad one for sure.

I'm so happy to hear you were able to enjoy this with your guests! That's what it's all about!

Windows Security Update 5094126 is also causing this problem.

This got installed last night via windows update.   Uninstalled the update and all is back to normal.

@Alien: Thank you sharing this.
For those who also had the KB05094126 installed,  the registry fix also works with this update.
After the reboot is gave some errors but after starting it up again it worked.

Phew... glad I found this, I had a massive panic. Took a couple of tries purely because of my inability to follow instructions (mainly the 'run as admin' and 'reboot your PC' part), but we're back up and running. You're a star as always, @NailBuster! ❤️
