Anything else I'm missing to make the VPX experience better?

Hi! First post on the forum. Have been loving the vpin experience.

 

My system overall is a

• 4k 120hz c2, 15" dmd and 32" backscreen.
• 10 solenoids
• 4.1 SSF
• 2.1 backbox
• Knocker, shaker and plunger.
• For LED I have 2 strips on field, one matrix across the back and a set of 5 pack strobe across the top

 

I'm curious if there is anything must have or surprised thing that you added that I'm missing from either hardware or the software side? 

 

I do think I would like to make light up coin slots and wire them to the coin button.

 

As for software, so far I have: 

• VPX, Pinball FX, all running through Pinup Popper.
• I have utilized the following addons and mods so far:
  • Color DMD's
  • Alt Sounds for some Tables
  • Installed a few pup packs
  • Recorded all of my own images for bg, dmd, & table. 
  • Using Pinvol to control sound levels with my very own made button box for the controls!
  • Using iscored for a highscore screen on a nearby tv with a tablet. 

 

The only thing I can't get working atm is LED Strips in Pinball FX. I do have doflinx working and have the solenoids/ssf working. But I don't know how and can't find a readup on how to get my lights working.

 

The other issue I'm struggling with is understanding system menus in some roms. For example, I was trying to change the coin insert from making knocker sounds like in T2, but I can't get the service menu to work or anything.

 

Is there any other must have software, modifications to software, or settings I should look into for a better experience?

Ive never bothered with one , but if you wanted everything you could add a blower fan, for tables with wind effects.
