So I just thought id jump in to give an opinion as Ive been using this software for years now. These are my hopes for VP11 or whatever is next.

First off and number 1 is I feel like the ball needs to run off the flipper while its up, with the force of the spin when it touches the flipper rubber. It will run off now with enough momentum but the spin of the ball will not and the energy from spins sorta dies on the flipper. The ball could be more wild in general at the flippers and inlanes.

Number 2 would be on the fly shots not going wide enough. It seems that, especially on fast tables the shot shoots to the backhand side of the table too easily, and Im always having to hit the ball as it bounces away to get a forehand on the fly.

This is my first post and I dont wanna complain because I love this software the community has built. So let me switch to praising my ultrawide playfield monitor.. I would reccomend anyone looking into building a cab to go with this monitor. Its a 40 inch ultrawide from INNOCIN, flat 144 frames and 4k. Too small for a real cab but perfect for custom builds. The extra space that you get from the wider aspect ratio is a game changer. More time to read the ball and it feels better, wheightier rolling around.

I marked it with tape at the height to scale for williams standard body machines and set them up accordingly. Its just about 3/4ths scale to a real machine but I think its worth the tradeoff for the performance and price. Because 16:9 is too short and ultrawide is too long I plan on hiding a bit of the monitor in the back of the cab.

Are there any OLED wide screen monitors?  OLED truly is a once you've used it you can never go back type of wow factor.....

Maybe there is but I found only curved, super ultrawide, or monitors that were too small. 21:9 at 50 inches and OLED would obviously be perfect. But nothing really exists for consumer grade.

Yoosh your reflexion is similar to mine .

i noticed the exact same flaw in the physics about the ball  needing to run off the flipper while its up.

It's the only flaw i was able to notice though and that speak volume about the quality of the software and people implementing it.

Moreover it looks extremly realistic anyways

I was thinking about ultrawilde 21/9 screen for a while now because it is  almost perfect in term of  x/y scale compared to "modern" pinball playfield (after 91).

Could you confirm that vpx works fine with 21/9 screen as i'm worried it was potentially made only  for 16/9 resolution and would not adjust well ?

By the way will became available in a few months (if not already in some countries)  the UltraGear 45GX990A, an 21/9 ultrawide 5k/2k  oled 165 Htz bendable screen which can be totally flat for a price tag of 2k+.

Would be excellent for pincab but still not better i beleieve (and more expensive) than the actual best option available right now whish is a 42/43 inch 16/9 4k oled 120 or 144 Htz.

Oled is mandatory if you have the  budget of course, it is that much better IMO

For sure all the tables work great, some hybrid table need extra backbox vr options off and stuff like that, I use the window camera option and the no stretching option and especially standard body tables look superb.

This monitor was only 400 on sale so its a great option for mid range custom builders.
