griffindodd Posted May 6, 2025 Posted May 6, 2025 (edited) Hi all, I'm LOVING 10.8 GL with frame pacing, it's just so smooth and low latency. However on some tables I've noticed that the main sounds can have a harsh 'crackle' at what seems to be certain frequencies. In the past lowering the ROM volume helped but this seems to be different. Doesn't happen on all tables, just a few here and there, and only on certain sounds. Anyone else come across this? deadmanworking Posted May 7, 2025 Posted May 7, 2025 @griffindodd do you have a sample of what it sounds like? Does this also occur if you lower the resolution to 1080p?

Lowering resolutions isn't an option on my main display, however, just to clarify, I don't use digital outputs such as HDMI or Optical for the sound that is being effected, it is using a good-old speaker jack from my onboard audio to a pair of desktop computer speakers, nothing fancy.
