Request to Restore the Alphabetical Search Feature

Hello everyone!

I apologize if this topic has already been addressed in another post, but I couldn't find anything about it. I was away on vacation for some time, and upon my return, several friends informed me that an unfortunate change had been made to the website: the alphabetical display for tables, B2S, ROMs, etc. has completely disappeared. After checking for myself, I can confirm that this feature has indeed been removed.
Why was this decision made?

The site is rich with information and content, functioning as a wonderful and extensive database, and removing the alphabetical search feature seems like a step backward for navigation.

Is it still possible to restore this feature which was really very practical, even essential?

The site is getting ready to undergo some major renovations.  As I get ready for that transition, some pieces which were third party addons, I have to disable for testing. 

I have to test multiple areas of the site before I can start the transitions.  So, you will see somethings disappear and reappear as my testing goes on. One the main transition has been completed, you will see major changes across the site.
