v8nside Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Every table ive installed are all not center... the middle of the table is always to the left of screen, no matter how much fine tuning i do in vpx pov editor i can never get the table all in the screen and be centered .... the lane where the ball shoots up the table is always virtually cut from the screen to get the table looking good and centered... Im assuming that when the table loads in vpx that the table is loading off center, but i never touched any settings in vpx... Does anyone know whats going on im still pretty much a newb and only just recently worked out how to adjust tables in vpx pov....

Make sure you have entered your playfield monitor dimensions in centimeters under VPX video settings: Then using the F12 menu select "Window" POV mode and press the launch button (enter key on a keyboard) . This will center and pre-adjust the table to your screen, then all you have to do is dial it in using the flipper/magna buttons. Don't forget to press the start button (1 key on keyboard) to save your settings in corresponding .ini file. Note: each screen in the F12 menu has to be saved independently by hitting the start key. Keep in mind all your tables will need to be adjusted individually, there is no one-size-fits-all adjustment as each table is build uniquely. Also, once you enter your screen dimensions in VPX video settings you'll need to re-visit all your installed tables and adjust accordingly.

You put in the width and height for the viewable playfield (width=longer side, height=shorter side). Screen inclination is actually in degrees. The X, Y, Z are the player's position relative to the cabinet. I would enter at least the Z value (in cm), which is the distance from the front of playfield (near the lockbar) to the player's eyelevel, thus reflecting the height from which the player is watching the playfield.
v8nside Posted June 18, 2025 Author Posted June 18, 2025 The tables are still not centered... i had to reinstall everything ive put the cabinet size as mentioned above and still nothing... anyone know how to move the table in vpx ??

Thanks! For Player Y and Z, where would the start/end measurements be? I've been trying to figure that out and can't seem to understand it quite right. Would Y be from center screen to player, and X be from eyeline to center?
deadmanworking Posted January 29 Posted January 29 You would measure Z as the eye height above your cab (I. E. distance between your eye level to the bottom of your screen), so that should be 50-70cm, and Y as the distance between your standing position and your cab (to bottom of screen) , so around 10-20cm, but on smaller screen this often becomes minus 15 to 20 I have learned
