VPX-Launcher 1.11

The overlay screen is too close on my face in VR mode.

How to adjust a bit far from the face?

There is nothing on config.xml or documentation explain about it

I followed your tip and I changed the 

OverlayWidthVR form 100 to 35 and

OverlayHeightVR from 100 to 35 in HKEY...

Now is better. I see the table template in the left side and the Hiscores in the right side

because the overlay is lower than before but I think that should have a parameter like Z axis

In the documentation I saw a DWORD "eyeDistance" (maybe from the old version) and I made it with values 100, 364 and 500

There was no effect.

I Didn´t restart the windows but I´m not shure if is the case.

I have exactly the same problem. I need to be able to zoom out of the overlay. Furthermore, I only have a gray frame, but no templates located in vpxlauncher/data/templates.

 

How did you access the OverlayWidthVR and OverlayHeightVR settings?

I received this istrunctions from the author:

 

On game play press F12 to show up th e tweak menu.

Press RIGHT / LEFT FLIPPER (SHIFT) untill the page - VR_TWEAKUI

Press LEFT / RIGHT MAGNA SAVE (CTRL) - TWEAKUI_X and TWEAKUI_Y

Press RIGHT / LEFT FLIPPER (SHIFT) - To adjust your better view

 

About the OVERLAYS

At first, take a look if your VPlauncher downloaded file is complete

 

On game play press ESC for moment to show the gamelist overlay.

Press CREDIT (5) to go in menu overlay

Press RIGHT / LEFT FLIPPER (SHIFT) untill OVERLAYS 8.5

Press LEFT / RIGHT MAGNA SAVE (CTRL) untill your better layout

Press ESC to return play mode

I finally found it in the configuration screen... but it's not in the field of vision !

 

Perhaps default values with width VR of 30% and with height VR  40% would be more suitable for most users?

 

Once you see the configuration screen, it's really great! You can select the template, set the background color, transparency, the color of the selected table, etc.

 

Perhaps this menu should group the screens together when you use end + F12?

Yeah!

 

At fisrt time to adjust is hard. You need to feel if you are on correct positiion.

Tehn it will be easy.

I have configured pinemhi and the scores are displayed in vpx launcher. My problem concerns the thousands separator which displays ? instead of .

 

Do you have any idea what the problem is?

If you still see this issue, open a table with the VPinballX_GL.exe (not with the VPX Launcher) enter the tweak menu there and make adjustments, close it all and then open the VPX Launcher and try adjusting then.

I think you are talking about the score numbers, That´s right?

Take a look in your language keyboard configuration

The mine is "portugues Brasil ABNT" and works fine.

I believe USA standard should be works.

Yes, I'm talking about scores, for example : 1) MAB display 15?000?000 instead of 15.000.000 (as in the screenshots at the beginning of this post)

 

Thanks for the keyboard tip. Ultimately, it's not the keyboard but the regional settings associated with the language that are the problem.

 

In particular, the "digit grouping symbol" setting.

 

I ran several tests:
- if the digit grouping symbol is a period (.), then the pinemhi mm_109c.nv command displays 15.000.000, and vpx launcher also displays 15.000.000

- If the digit grouping symbol is a comma (,), then the pinemhi mm_109c.nv command displays 15,000,000, and vpx launcher also displays 15,000,000

- If the digit grouping symbol is a blank space ( ), then the pinemhi command displays 15 000 000, BUT vpx launcher displays 15?000?000

 

Like the blank space is the default regional setting for the digit grouping symbol in France, I simply replace it with the desired symbol (.) :
- control panel / region / additional settings /

 

And now it works perfectly🙂
